#13845 Lana

Adoptable
Large-size, Female, Adult Husky x Shepherd,

Introducing Lana, our delightful 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix weighing in at 72 pounds. Lana is a social butterfly who adores people, dogs, squeaky toys, car rides, and leisurely walks to explore new scents. She lights up whenever she sees other dogs or any humans who might be comig over to pet her. She's the epitome of sweetness and affection, craving attention and cuddles from everyone she meets. Rather than be in a crate, she much prefers to hang out on the couch, where she is well behaved and will patiently await her humans' return.

This loving pup is a breeze to have around the house, as she settles in well even when her humans are away. Lana is mastering leash manners and loves to show off her tricks, sitting politely and offering her paw with a wagging tail.

While Lana may get a bit anxious during thunderstorms, she knows just how to find her calm in a quiet spot until the storm passes. She's the perfect combination of couch companion and playful pup, happy to snuggle up with you or entertain herself with her favorite toys.

Lana is potty trained and has never had an accident in the house. In fact, she'll let her humans know it's time for a potty break by giving paw, or maybe a whine. She prefers to go out to play or for a potty break every three or four hours but she is fine all night without a break.

Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Lana will gain a special, spunky, and loving companion who brings joy and laughter to every moment. With Lana by your side, every day is filled with wagging tails, endless cuddles, and boundless love. Are you ready to welcome this charming lady pup into your heart and home?

Lana Lana is currently being fostered in Frederick, MD.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
