Dear Friends,

The holidays are a time to gather with friends and family and so many have welcomed a rescued dog or cat into their families this year. Operation Paws for Homes is thinking of all those rescued pets who are starring in their first of many family holiday cards to come!
I hope you will consider making a donation to OPH this holiday season. So many more dogs and cats need their time in front of the camera and cannot do it without you.

One story comes to mind. Eight puppies were born to a parvo-inflicted momma named Bark Phoenix. Only five survived. Bark Phoenix was too weak to nurse the five surviving puppies before being swept away to the vet for lifesaving care. Only days old, these tiny lives were under threat.
Then, Dani came to the rescue.

A recent mom herself, Dani still had milk flowing. Volunteer
fosters introduced her to the abandoned pups and crossed their fingers in hope that she would accept this new litter. Though touch and go at first, Dani accepted the weakening puppies and they feasted for several days until they were strong enough to switch to bottles and puppy mush.

Thanks to donations like yours and volunteer power, OPH was able to provide medical care and daily living supplies. Now these tiny puppy survivors are happily snuggling with their new families and looking forward to being the star of their first holiday card!
Think of how many more will be the star of their own holiday card next year with your year-end contribution!
