#10394 Congaree

Adopted
Large-size, Female, Adult Hound x Hound,

Hi!
My name is Congaree and I’m part of the National Parks transport. I’m guessed to be a Hound mix. I am a 3 year old girl and weigh 64 lbs.

So far I have been a wonderful guest in my foster home. I have good house manners and haven’t made any messes. I also sleep quietly in my crate through the night! It’s taken me a while to feel comfortable, but I have been showing my foster parents some of my silly side. I’ve also shown them that I know how to sit and lay down when they ask me to. I am working on learning good leash manners, but my foster mom says I’m doing a great job so far. I absolutely love being outside, but curling up on the couch for a nice afternoon nap is pretty great. Recently, I have met some other dogs in the neighborhood and have been very friendly and playful with all of them! I have also explore some toys at my foster home and my favorite thing is to chew on filled bones and kongs.

I can't wait to get to my forever home! Is that with you? If so apply today! I won’t be available for long!

Congaree is up-to-date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. She is not suitable in an apartment, condo or other urban setting. Congaree is currently being fostered in Frederick, MD.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
