My name is Fern Park and I’m part of the National Parks transport. I’m guessed to be a hound mix. I am a 4 year old girl and weigh about 50 lbs. I am such a good girl, house trained, good on the leash, love being loved on! I enjoy lounging in a chair with people. I love all the attention from my foster human kindergartener. I am still recovering from my heartworm treatment, I'm doing very and looking forward to having some good play time. I can't wait to get to my forever home! Is that with you? If so apply today! I won’t be available for long!
This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
