Hi! My name is Penelope Kosovo and I’m HERE!! I just flew in from Kosovo (yes, the country!) and I'm looking for my furever home.
I’m guessed to be a Shepherd mix, but my foster mom thinks I have some collie or Golden Retriever because of my fluffy tail and the way I walk. She says my face looks like a mini-Lassie. I'm estimated to be about 10 months old and to weigh about 45-50 lbs. I’m a sweet, playful girl who LOVES to give kisses. My Foster in Kosovo had two young boys who played with me a lot, so I’d love having some kids in my new home.
Here's what my foster mom has observed so far:
* I'm house trained.
* I love to run and run. You will soon see a video here with me in action.
* I know a few commands. I'm great with "sit" and I come when called (most of the time).
* I'm not a fan of the crate - yet. I'd never seen such a contraption, until I was put in one for my 15-hour flight here. My foster mom is giving me my meals in the crate and, since I love to eat, that's a big incentive to go in.
* We went for a walk yesterday and I loved all the smells. I saw a large dog that I had to bark at. I learned it was a horse. I don't know if I've ever seen one. I pulled a bit, so I need some practice.
Stay tuned for more information as my foster mom gets to know me.
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
