#10666 Carriganass Castle

Medium-size, Male, Senior Labrador Retriever,

Hi! My name is Carriganass Castle and I'm part of the Irish Castle themed OPH transport that arrived on 3/26/21! I'm guessed to be a 8 year old lab mix. I'm a sweet boy, and I currently weigh 45 lbs. My foster mom says I am a very outgoing and friendly boy to all people I meet! I am also learning some commands and that I stay in my crate well. I love being petted and just want to please you, especially if there are treats! I am doing well with housetraining. I am reactive to dogs, so it would be best if I'm the only dog. I'm in search of my new family, is that with you? If so apply today! I won't be available for long!

This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Carriganass Castle is up-to-date on his vaccinations and has been neutered. He is best in a home without dogs. Carriganass Castle is currently being fostered in Frederick, MD.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
