#10813 Tink (Tink's Tots Mom)

Medium-size, Female, Adult Spaniel,

Hi, My be is Tink! I'm guessed to be a Spaniel mix at 3 years old. Post puppy weight I am about 19 and a half pounds.

I am working hard on being ready to be adopted. I go in my crate pretty easy. I seem to like everyone that I have met so far, but I can be a little shy at first. If you like to give pets, I'll be your best friend. I especially LOVE my ears scratched!

I'm done with my motherly duties, so now I'm looking for my own home.

*I like treats....all of them!
*Squeaky toys get me the most excited!
*Foster Mom says I go in my crate nicely.
*I'm getting better at walking on a leash.

This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Tink (Tink's Tots Mom) is up-to-date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. Tink (Tink's Tots Mom) is currently being fostered in Nokesville, VA.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Davidsonville, MD for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Davidsonville.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
