#10937 Pirates of the Caribbean

Adoptable
Medium-size, Male, Adult Plott Hound,

Hi!! My name is Pirates of the Caribbean. I am a really good pup with soulful eyes, a happy heart and a beautiful brindle coat. I have loads of energy and love to race around with pure joy. And I sure do love to sniff and explore. Sniffing is good for my brain. I love being petted and am a champion snuggler. I show my affection by leaning into my people and wriggling close to them when I can.

I am a sweet, male, guessed to 3 years young at heart, and a Plott Hound mix.

Snacks are my favorite - I am very food motivated, so anything to do with food makes me eager to learn! For most of my life I didn’t have any rules, so I would really be great for someone who is willing to work with me on training.

I am getting used to the crate and will need frequent potty breaks in my new home unit I get on a schedule. Right now I am hanging out in a boarding facility and all of my human visitors love hanging out with me as much as I love hanging out with them. They take me on wonderful adventures and sometimes home for a few nights. I have done well around the tweens that I have met. Because of my exuberant nature and energetic personality, younger children may probably not be a good combo with me for now.

I am hoping for an active home where I can play a lot and maybe even have a fur sibling. A fenced yard to run in would be a huge plus!

I have been well behaved with the dogs that I have met on pup-overs. I comply with verbal correction and cues from other pups.

If you’re looking for a whole lot of love in a small/medium package, then I might be the one for you!

Apply today! I am SO ready for my forever loving home!

Pirates of the Caribbean is up-to-date on his vaccinations and has been neutered. He is best in a home without cats and is best in a home without small children. Pirates of the Caribbean is currently being fostered in Bailey's Crossroads, VA.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Davidsonville, MD for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Davidsonville.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
