🐾 Welcome to my train ride. I will be your host. On this ride you will be learning about me. I am Marketplace Train Express. Hold on tight, here we go!
🐾 I’m guessed to be a feist mix and I weigh about 20 lbs. I’m a sweet girl and I am 1.5 years old.
🐾 I have had a hard start in life, so I will need a patient adopter, one that is willing to give me the support and training I need to be successful.
🐾 My foster says, I'm a sweet girl who is very cautious of the world around me. So this means no apartment/Condo for me. I would love a fenced in yard, where I can feel safe and cozy, while my training is being done.
🐾 I am crate trained. "YEA ME". I do need slow introductions to both people/dogs. I guess in my past, I have found that I was unable to trust. So I need to learn to trust again. However, I am food motivated 😋
🐾 I know I'm over a year old, hiding my head in shame, that I should be potty trained at my age. I do have some puppy tendencies. ( Nipping, jumping, and prey drive so no small animal's)
🐾 I'm probably best in a home that has older dog savvy kids. I don't want to jump on one and hurt them. Plus I need to learn that just because I have something, I'm not in charge. My new family will be in charge and I need to give it up with no mouth.
🐾 I do like to go on walks, but with being unsure of the world around me, I do tend to bark at new people or dogs I see.
🐾 I so want to be the pup you want me to be, so if you are willing to help me overcome my fears, I will do my best to become the dog you want me to be. So I'm in if you are, how about it? Let’s get that training started.
🐾 If you can see past my fixable flaws, please apply for me. I so want a home to call mine, and a family that I have never had. So please apply today! I'll be waiting.
All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Davidsonville, MD for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Davidsonville.
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
