Oh hi, hello, howdy! 😆 My name is Nurse Shark! My mom calls me Wiggles because I am always so happy. Do you need a best buddy, who is happy go lucky, and wiggle my tail when I am happy?? 🐾 I’m guessed to be about 4 years old, lab mix, a sweet guy and I weigh about 50 pounds. I am also said to be Mountain Cur which my foster mom says is really cool! Mostly I’m like a lab, easy going and lovable.

🤍I need to work a bit on my leash walking
I’m a skinny guy, but now that I’m eating well in my foster home, I’ll gain a few more pounds. I do the CUTEST little snort sounds when I get excited. I love to be petted, snuggled, and when my foster mommy tells me I’m a good boy. I help my foster mom with her gardening and love just chilling on the back deck. Spending time with my people is the best! I also recently had a pupover where I interacted with kiddos and I was said to be wonderful with them during my stay.
I also love to play with toys- I think it’s the most fun thing ever! Chewing a nylabone also is super fun. My foster mommy says she thinks I’d be happy in most any home as long as I have someone who will snuggle me and play with me and give me treats. I am also very good about being gentle and not jumping up onto people. I am very friendly with My foster doggie sister. I sleep so nicely in my crate without making a peep. I am doing great with my potty training and only going potty outside. Did I mention my very favorite thing?!?? FOOD and TREATS!! 🦴 My foster mommy says I am just precious. I am so grateful for all the love that I’m getting now that I’m in a safe and supportive foster home with food, snuggles, and affection. But, I really want to find my forever family and a home of my own. Would love to be with you in my forever home, want to adopt me?

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Davidsonville, MD for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Davidsonville.
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
