#11157 Detroit Red

Adopted
Medium-size, Female, Young Labrador Retriever,

Hi, my name is Detroit Red aka Daisy and I'm an adorable Lab mix who is about 7 months old and around 24lbs. Here are some things to know about me:

* I love humans! I'm a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly.
* So far, I'm good with the other dogs in my foster home and want to play with them.
* I love chewing on bones and running around the back yard.
* So far, I've been a good girl in my crate.
* I've not had any accidents yet in the house. I do whine and sniff around when I need to potty.
* I had a great time at a recent event meeting lots of kids, adults and dogs! I loved everyone!
* I am food motivated and will keep your floors free of crumbs!

Come see me at the Frederick, MD event this Saturday!

Detroit Red is up-to-date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. Detroit Red is currently being fostered in Hanover, PA.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Davidsonville, MD for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Davidsonville.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
