#11921 Tlayuda

Medium-size, Female, Senior Labrador Retriever,

My name is Tlayuda and I’m part of the Mexican Food themed transport coming to OPH on 5/6/22. I’m guessed to be a 7 year old lab mix. I’m a sweet, friendly, happy girl and I currently weigh about 50 lbs.

I am named after the Tlayuda, an iconic street food from Oaxaca, Mexico sometimes known as the Mexican pizza. It's made with a giant tortilla topped with asiento, refried beans, and ribbons of quesillo. I'm a sweet blend of cute and happy and I’m making my way north in search of my new family. Is that with you? If so apply today I won’t be available for long.

My foster mom says;

* I am affectionate after my short period of shyness,
* I am crate trained,
* I love to be a couch potato,
* I enjoy my walks but I do have a prey drive,
* I must be the only dog in the home,
* I was a very good girl getting a bath, nails cut, ears cleaned,
* I love affection and will let you know by laying by you, on you, giving you my paw, or laying behind you,
* and I give kisses!!

Tlayuda is up-to-date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. Tlayuda is currently being fostered in Frederick, MD.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Davidsonville, MD for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Davidsonville.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
