Hi, My name is Scooby and I'm Here looking or my family. Will that be you? I'm guessed to be a 2 year old Basset mix and weigh about 35lbs. I am a sweet lowrider girl. Don’t let my size fool you, I have a big personality. I want to be in all the action and I’m happiest when I’m with everyone. I am such a social butterfly I love everyone I meet and don’t like being alone in the crate, cuz it’s so boring. I rather sit on the couch and snuggle while watching Netflix. When it comes to meeting other dogs I don’t tolerate rude dogs, I will put them in their place. So proper introductions to new dogs works best for me. I am learning my basic commands and relearning how to tell people I have to go out so I don’t have an accident. I can be low key when needed. I love car rides, going on adventures, playing with my foster brothers. I will be your ride or die buddy. Right now I live with my foster mom. a teenager and two dogs. If I sound like your girl, come and see me.
All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
