#12274 Remembering Ashley 2022

Adopted
Small-size, Female, Adult Schnauzer,

Hi! My name is Remembering Ashely I'm named in honor of all the homeless pets waiting for forever homes in animal shelters and those who didn't make it out.

I'm guessed to be a Schnauzer mix, about 1 year old, and weigh around 15 lbs.

I was in rough shape before I came to OPH (check out the last photo in profile). I didn't have a great start to life and therefore everything is so new to me, such as grass. However, my past doesn't define me and I am the sweetest little girl! I love to be scratched, shown affection, and cuddle.

I didn't have any accidents in my crate the first night and was quite all night. I am getting used to grass and I love to frolic in it! You can find me smiling, dancing, and playing outside while I enjoy this new life!

When I am not frolicking in the grass I love to be with my people or playing with toys or exploring the house. I have a great appetite and I am getting the hang of bones!

I made my way north on 9/23 in search of a new family. Is that with you? If so, apply today! I won't be available for long!

Remembering Ashley 2022 is up-to-date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. Remembering Ashley 2022 is currently being fostered in Alexandria, VA.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
