#12705 Gracie Desi Dog

Medium-size, Female, Adult Labrador Retriever x Whippet,

Hi, I’m Gracie! I am three years old and weigh about 32 lbs. I am a "Desi Dog" (a local term for native street dog) from India in search of a home of my own. My mother was found pregnant and ill on the street and was rescued by Kannan Animal Welfare (KAW), a local animal welfare group in New Delhi, who nursed her back to good health. She gave birth to five adorable puppies, including me. OPH brought my mom to the U.S. in 2020 and she was adopted -- and now I and my sister Mimi have come to the U.S. to find forever homes like our mom did!

I am a shy sweet girl who will need some time to warm up to my new family, but once I get to know you, I am a wonderful dog who will be your best friend! Did you notice my adorable super-curly tail??

I arrived from India on April 14. Apply now to become my forever family!

Gracie Desi Dog Gracie Desi Dog is currently being fostered in Spring Grove , PA.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
