#12803 Mopsy

Adoptable
Medium-size, Female, Adult Beagle,

Hi! My name is Mopsy and I'm coming up to OPH on 4/21/23. I am part of the "Bring in the Spring" transport.

I’m guessed to be a Beagle mix and estimated to be about 3 years old. I’m a sweet gal and I currently weigh about 25 lbs.

I’m a bonded pair with my bestie Sunshine! I get very nervous on my own but when I see that Sunshine trusts someone I feel much better. We do everything together - eat, sleep, and most importantly cuddle! I do not like to be left alone but as long as I have Sunshine with me I know I will be okay.

I was an outside dog so I am learning my inside manners - and I am a fast learner! I am getting very good about going to the bathroom outside but I have a hard time holding it so I need to be kept on a schedule and go outside as soon as I leave my crate.

I have a lot of energy, so when I get excited I love to wrestle with Sunshine and play with any toy I see. Once I get my energy out, I love to curl up right next to my human and take a nap.

I have a lot of love to give and am looking for my forever home! I'm springing my way north in search of my new family. Is that with you? If so apply today because this cuteness won’t be around for long!

Mopsy Mopsy is currently being fostered in Alexandria, VA.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
