Cleatus here!
Nice to meet you. Let me tell you a bit about me. You see, I was found as a stray running with my sister Clementine in Gloucester County Virginia. No one came to find us so the nice folks at Animal Control talked to the nice folks at OPH and here I am!
My foster family is lots of fun. They say I'm just the sweetest pup with amazing colors. I'm about 6 months old and weigh 24 pounds. I got neutered and my rabies vaccine on the Spay Bus! That was one bus ride I was not expecting!
While I've been hanging out with my foster family I'm learning all about toys, a family and being inside. While I'm not potty trained just yet (because this is the first time I've lived in a house) I am working on crate training. Foster Mom says I get an A there (I'm working on an A+, but I've had a few tinkles in there). I am a happy, healthy pup just looking for a family to call my own who will love me forever. Might that be you?
My foster family is in Nokesville, VA. My foster Mom can give you some directions she says. Apply today, I'm such a hunk I won't be around long!
All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
