About: Samira
Hello! My name is Samira! I'm a mixed breed pup with a sweet personality, ready to give you all my love and loyalty. At 40lbs., I'm the perfect size, don't you think?

I arrived to my OPH foster home on 1/31, and I'm starting to show more of my sweet, fun personality. I'm a happy girl! I LOVE toys and can keep myself entertained playing with them.

I love being with my foster family!

I'm housebroken, and I'm quiet in my crate. I need a little encouragement to go into my crate, but I settle quickly and sleep soundly. I've slept quietly every night.

I'm young (about 1 year old) and need to learn basic obedience, but I love my people and I'm learning so much already!
I've even been good with my foster family's cat (under close supervision and while on leash), but I would probably chase her and try to play with her if she ran.

We're doing slow intros with the other dogs in the family, so we'll have updates on that soon.

My foster mom and dad think I'm gorgeous and very sweet - and I make them laugh every day!

I'm looking for my forever family! Is that with you? If so please hit the apply button and let’s get our family started.

Samira Samira is currently being fostered in Hughesville, MD.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
