#6423 Lemonade Momma

Medium-size, Female, Adult Hound,

What an amazing dog she has now raised two litters of puppies. One her biological puppies who have all found homes. She has also completed raising a litter of 5 adorable lab puppies. She has spent all this time saving lives, it is now her turn.

Lemonade was a back yard dog. She was found attached to a chain and her 6 puppies crawling in the dirt not more than a week old. By the time the rescuers got there they found only 4 live puppies. She had such a strong instinct to care for them and the 4 she brought from the Carolinas were strong and fat. She on the other hand was thin and undernourished.

Hi I'm Lemonade and I will jump through hula hoops for you!!! I am a girl of only 1 year of age. I am looking for an Active family that would love to run and play ball with me and then hang out. I love to go on walks and explore new things then love me at the end of the day. My foster family has tried to take me with them to show me that there is more to the world than just a chain and a back yard. I do like to hang out at your feet and get lots of love. I love to go on car rides and my foster says I'm a very polite rider. There are so many puppies for adoption but I am potty trained, I don't mouth you, and I don't cry all night.
I would love to watch over my very own family in exchange for all the love you can provide. Please think about adding me to your family.

Lemonade Momma is up-to-date on her vaccinations and has been spayed. Lemonade Momma is currently being fostered in Woodbridge, VA.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Davidsonville, MD for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Davidsonville.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
