Gawwww-leeeee, I'm Gomer Pyle! I'm approximately a year and a half old, 30 pounds, and appear to be a Lab/terrier mix. I've got gobs of happy energy and shower it on anyone in the vicinity.
You can check me out in action here!
I would make a great little family dog. I'm a devoted friend and would probably be happiest as your only pup. I'm curious about cats, but so far have not messed with my foster's kitty (other than giving her the sniff-over). I think I'd like to chase her, but she doesn't wanna play my game.
I will be your best friend, constant shadow, and first rate cuddler—I'm a total love bug. I'm great with everyone, from kids to adults, and do well on car rides. Not only that, I'm housebroken and happy in my crate when you are out of the house.
I'm a smart boy and motivated by treats - so let's go to doggie classes together! I could learn anything! I can fetch and am being introduced to frisbee!
I'm working on curbing my enthusiasm and not jumping on people when I'm excited; I'm not rough, I just want to get your attention! I also get scared if you raise your voice and will cower (I may have come from a scolding household), but I'll recover right away; I'm happy if you're happy.
My foster mom writes a blog about her fostering experiences and guess who is a guest star of that blog these days?! check it out - www.anothergooddog.wordpress.com
This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Read more about heartworm disease here here"
