#3674 Gomer Pyle

Completed
Medium-size, Male, Adult Black Labrador Retriever,
Gomer Pyle is up-to-date on his shots and has been neutered. Gomer Pyle is currently being fostered in New Freedom, PA.

Gawwww-leeeee, I'm Gomer Pyle! I'm approximately a year and a half old and I pack 30 pounds on my solid little frame. I've got gobs of happy energy and loads of personality, so I am one fun pup to have around. genealogy is anyone's guess, but one thing's for sure I'm the perfect mix of devotion and fun.

You can check me out in action here!

I would make a great little family dog. I enjoy all the members of my current foster family, showering all of them equally with near constant kisses. I like other dogs, but would probably be happiest as your only pup. I'm curious about cats, but so far have not messed with my foster's kitty (other than giving her the sniff-over). I think I'd like to chase her, but she doesn't wanna play my game.

I will be your best friend, constant shadow, and first-rate cuddler—I'm a total love bug and happiest snuggled up by your side. I'm great with everyone, from kids to adults, and do well on car rides. Not only that, I'm housebroken and happy in my crate when you are out of the house.

I'm a smart boy and motivated by treats - so let's go to doggie classes together! I could learn anything! I can fetch and am being introduced to frisbee!

My foster mom writes a blog about her fostering experiences and guess who is a guest star of that blog these days?! check it out - www.anothergooddog.wordpress.com

This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Read more about heartworm disease here here"
