Clark is approximately one year old and 40 pounds with a cool, calm Labitude and maybe houndliness. He is a sweetie pie who sits happily for head petting and for transitions like putting a leash or collar on or off. He is mellow, friendly and very tail waggy indoors with just enough outdoor bounciness to make you laugh. He likes to carry his toys to a special spot on a rug and enjoys tearing through socks. Hang onto those mismatched socks for this guy. He will love them!
He walks on a leash comfortably with a martingale collar but doesn't quite heel. He trots along for a light jog. He loves to be in the backyard (4ft fence) checking out the squirrel and bird action or just racing around by himself. He hasn't met any other dogs yet, but I have a feeling he would do well with a buddy. At his foster home he has three boys ages 10-13 and he is very good with them. No issues with feeding. He eats well and isn't protective of his food. In fact, he seem to eat better with people nearby to give him company. He is potty/crate trained and is quiet in his crate. He has done well in his crate for up to 6 hours so far.
Clark is a true delight!
