I'm Resi! I'm an approximately 8 month old girl, who appears to be a border collie mix.
My SC foster says that I will make a wonderful pet for someone. He describes me as “sweet, biddable, athletic, and looking for someone to love her as much as she loves them.” He reports that I am crate trained, I settled well in the house without showing any destructive tendencies, and did well on potty-training with a doggy door in his house. He also reports that I loved all people that I met, and that I behaved well with his dog-savvy cats.
Resi is eligible for a two week trial adoption and will have an addendum since she will be adopted from a boarding facility. The addendum states, that due to being in a boarding facility and not in a foster home, Operation Paws for Homes isn't 100% sure how she will act in your home. More specifically this means, they do not know if she is potty trained, how she will be when being crated and are unsure of how her house manners are. Operation Paws for Homes always recommends a decompression period to allow any dog to adjust into your home.
There are so many dogs that need help and space is limited in rescue, for this reason if a return from a trial adoption is requested, please notes that it may take up to 7 days to find placement which may not be where the dog was adopted from. We do our best to accommodate but sometimes out options are limited as we try to combat the problem of pet overpopulation. Thank you for understanding! We will work hard to find your perfect match!
