Hi! I’m Bruce! It’s nice to meet you! I am about a year and a half old and weigh about 33 lbs. I am a "Desi Dog" (a local term for "street dog") from India in search of a home of my own. I was rescued by KAW, a local rescue group in New Delhi, and I was found with a severe injury to my hind leg from a car accident. My leg had to be amputated but that has not slowed me down at all! I have fully recovered and adjusted very well to life with three legs.

I love getting attention from people and people say that I am a "lap dog", whatever that means. I love to cuddle with the members of my foster family -- I sit in their laps and give them kisses! I don't have any accidents in my foster's home, and I am crate-trained. I am sometimes nervous around new dogs, but I am best friends with my foster's dog and have some other doggie friends too. I do especially well with alpha females. Small children make me nervous, but I adore my foster family's teenagers! I think cats are fun to chase, so my foster mom says maybe I shouldn't live with cats. I am treat-motivated and eager to please. I also walk well on a leash, and I'm medium energy. My foster mommy says I have the cutest curlicue at the end of my tail!

I’m neutered and up to date on vaccinations. If I could ask for one thing in the new year, it would be a loving home of my own. Could that be with you?
