My name is Feller Truman, but everyone calls me Elsie. I'm a 3-year old Cane Corso Mastiff, but I look more like a big goofy black lab with a stubby tail. I weigh about 80 lbs (I think that’s still lap dog size). I’m housebroken in my foster home and I know how to sit, stay and lie down. I love meeting other dogs, taking leisurely walks and snoozing on the couch, but most all, I love people. My foster mama calls me her shadow because I am always right by her side. I am loyal, loving, and protective of my people. I'm also a really sensitive girl who notices what's going on around me. If you're sad, I'll try to cheer you up with kisses and cuddles. If you're nervous or anxious about something, I might think I should worry too. If you're getting your sneakers on to go outside, I'll be ready to go too! And of course, if you're hungry, I'll be hungry and ready to eat too! Before coming to my foster home, I was hungry and scared, but since coming to OPH, I’ve had lots of yummy food, lots of belly rubs, and lots of love. As nice as it’s been to be in a warm, comfy foster home, my dream is to find a forever family that will love me and be my people. I’m looking for someone to call my own... will that be you?
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
