Hey there! I am Ricky Martin aka Larry, a two year old smallish handsome pup at 23 pounds.

I am best suited for a suburban type home this means unfortunately that apartments, condos, and some town homes would not be a good fit for me. Also I like children but would do best with children older than 12 years. I have gotten along with some dogs that I have met but really need a nice slow proper introduction first. That being said, I would be my best self with an experienced and dog savvy owner. And maybe, I am enough dog, full of love and kisses, to be your one and only.

My nickname could be Licky Rickey because I am very affectionate with my licky kisses. I certainly behave myself around well behaved dogs. I sure do love walks and hikes. I am young and have a lot of energy. I am very trainable so would love a forever adopter to enforce the commands that I know and keep me on my toes. Because of my energy level and smarts, agility training sounds like a wonderful idea to me. Click here to me playing outside in my foster home!

I am housebroken and crate trained. And what dog doesn't love belly rubs? That's one of my favorite things.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
