My original name is Bonnie Hopps, but I prefer being called 'Taffy'. I am 1 year 3 mths old and weigh less than 40 lbs. I am pretty shy, especially since I was separated from my sibling for the first time recently, as she went to another home. I am skittish around men but I don't react in a negative way at all- I just walk the other way or slow down when i'm nervous. I really love the children & most women I've met. I have been walking nicely on a leash and feel more confident when I prefer walk with my foster mommy's dog. I need some encouragement when being put into my crate but once I am in there, I'm fine & quiet. I am very sweet & extremely gentle. I just need some time to gain confidence & adjust to life without my sibling because I feel a bit lost; therefore I may follow you around a lot until I feel secure on my own. I do enjoy going in the backyard often which you will notice every time the door opens. I do eventually settle in when indoors, after walking around the house for awhile first, then I snuggle close against you to feel safe, then I will relax.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
