Hi there! My name is Sully. I'm a 3 year old Maltese/Poodle mix weighing about 15 pounds.
My foster mom said I'm a sweet boy and deserve a family that understands that I take a while to warm up to people, especially new people I don't know, and that I really need a home with a dog living there who can show me the ropes. I am still very scared of loud noises and sudden movements, so I shouldn't go to a home where there are kids under 12 or have kids visiting frequently.
I've gone through a lot of changes, coming from a shelter in Mississippi and enduring a long car ride to Maryland, so I'm a little overwhelmed with all the things going on. I am still pretty scared of people, although I love my foster fur-brothers! Whenever I see them, my tail wags a mile a minute. I even met a puppy at an event and couldn't stop giving her kisses! My foster mom is working on me coming out of my shell, but as of right now, I'm still a timid little boy who prefers to be around dogs than people.
Since I may take a while to warm up to new people and new environments, I would do best with some homebodies who don't travel a lot, so we can Netflix and chill together. Although I'm not the cuddliest boy, once I get to know you, I would totally be okay with hanging out on the couch with you.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
