Hi! I’m Tucker (AKA Indy)! I am nine months old and weigh about 30 lbs. I am a "Desi Dog" (a local term for "street dog") from India. I was rescued by Kannan Animal Welfare, a local rescue group in New Delhi, after I was found as a little puppy wandering alone without my family on the streets of New Delhi. Now I am here in the U.S. in search of a home of my own.
I am still getting used to all the strange smells and sounds in this country -- but I kind of like it here! I love to roll in the grass, take walks smell everything, and get my ears scratched by my foster mom! And I get on well with my cats -- I think they're interesting to look at! I LOVE to play with other dogs too, I light right up when I see one! Click here to see me in action with my pal! I would love to have a home with a dog brother or sister to play with, but I'm also okay just playing with my human!
I am house trained and crate trained. Only one accident ever, and I sleep quietly in my crate at night, and settle quickly in the crate during the day. I absolutely love food, I even do a little dance when my foster dad prepares my dinner. I take treats so nicely too! And I am very very quiet - my foster family has only heard me bark once or twice. My foster mom says I'm a very good boy!
I am a handsome boy with soft chocolate brown fur and the most beautiful green eyes. Apply now to become my forever family!!
Check out how silly and fun I am:
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
