Hi! My name is Kirk Cameron but some people call me “Tiny”. I’m guessing I am a Chihuahua/Feist dog mix, but I can only guarantee I’m 100 percent dog, harf! I’m part of the TV sitcom transport that came to OPH 6-28-19. I can’t remember my birthday but I think I’m about 1 year old. I still have lots of puppy energy in me and I weigh about 20 pounds. My hooman family had to move and said they couldn’t take me to their new place, so they took me to the shelter from which OPH rescued me.
I don’t REALLY like going into a crate, because I’d rather be playing or cuddling, but once I’m in it, I’m ok with it. The best part about my crate is the part when I’m about to get out of it! I get really really excited to get out of my crate. I have lots of energy to burn!I’m practicing walking on a leash with my foster hoomans, and I’m getting better, I just need more practice, and more walks HARF!!
My foster hooman has been having me potty outside and I’m getting use to that, but I still need more practice. I try really hard to be a good boy, but my foster hooman sometimes puts a diaper on me! With structure and routine I think I can get used to this potty training thing!
Sometimes when I get excited I want to jump up onto or into my hoomans arms, but they keep telling me it’s not pawlite, so I am trying not to do that! I haven’t barked much, but if I hear other dogs barking I can’t help but join in sometimes. Ive been working on being good and learning basic house manners. I know what to do but I get so "happy" it is hard for me to follow this whole manners thing. I’m trying!!!! So far, I have made friends with all of the hoomans and dogs I have met, but I really like playing with other younger dogs the best!
I’m telling you I am sweet and loveable and want to please my hoomans. I am full of energy and I love to play. When I have my one on one time with a hooman, I can calm right down for some cuddles and love!I have made my way North in search of my new hooman or family. Is that you???! If so, make sure you apply today!! I won’t be available long because I’m such a sweet pup!
**I will be at the Richmond Dog Festival Event in Richmond, VA on 9/21/19 from 11am to 4pm at Chimborazo Park 3215 E. Broad St. Richmond, VA 23223 . I would love to meet my furever family so come by and meet me this weekend !
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
