#8394 Captain Marvel

Completed
Medium-size, Female, Adult Black and Tan Coonhound x Bloodhound,
Captain Marvel is up-to-date on her shots and has been spayed. Captain Marvel is currently being fostered in Fort Washington, MD.

Hi! My name is Captain Marvel and I’m part of the Blockbuster Movie crew! I’m guessed to be a 4 year old, Black and Tan Coonhound mix. I’m a sweet girl who LOVES people. I love all of the wonderful people I have met since arriving to OPH. I've never met a stranger!

My big ears are just a part of my charm. I'm a happy-go-lucky goofy girl. Hounds are just like that! My foster home has three other dogs - and one is a hound so we have lots of fun running in the yard and howling as us hounds do!

I currently weigh about 52 lbs.

Apply today to set up a meet and greet! I won’t be available long.

This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. The dog was treated for the disease prior to transport north. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH’s heartworm coordinator. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Read more about heartworm disease here here
