#8453 Ribeye (Steak House Pups)

Adopted
Large-size, Female, Baby Dachshund x Labrador Retriever,
Ribeye (Steak House Pups) is up-to-date on her shots and has not yet been spayed. Ribeye (Steak House Pups) is currently being fostered in Parsonsburg, MD.

Are you looking for the perfect, smartest little puppy? STOP right here, you found her! Ribeye is the last of the Steak Pups to find her forever home. Her life started out a bit rough, she was surrendered with her siblings who all were undernourished and scared. She made her way to OPH and has grown so much both physically and mentally. She is amazingly smart, already mastering the "sit" command, does well in a crate and housebreaking has been a breeze. She wants to love and please her fosters ALL of the time. Ribeye enjoys the company of both her humans and her foster fur siblings. If she is not sitting with her foster mom, she is tumbling on the floor with one if not several of the other dogs in her foster home.

Ribeye is 3 months old and about 9 pounds.

Because she is a baby, she will require an adopter who is not out of the home for more than 4 hours at one time to continue her training - no exceptions! She is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and will need to be altered at the appropriate age per the spay/neuter agreement you will be signing at the time of adoption.

Please note that because she is so young, she has only received 2 sets of the required 3 sets puppy vaccinations. This is very IMPORTANT because it means that her immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age. She MUST stay out of public places where she could be exposed to the germs of many other dogs for another 6-8 weeks after she goes home. These no puppy zones include all pet stores, dog parks, and for apartment dwellers, areas used by other dogs. These requirements are strictly for the puppy’s medical safety and longevity.

I am fostered in Parsonsburg, MD and can be adopted as soon as 8/3/19. Apply to adopt me today !

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
