#8478 Dorian's Princess

Completed
Medium-size, Female, Young Labrador Retriever,
Dorian's Princess is up-to-date on her shots and has been spayed. Dorian's Princess is currently being fostered in Nokesville, VA.

I'm Dorian's Princess! OPH helped evacuate me from a partner shelter in Hurricane Dorian's path. I was worried, but now I'm safe with OPH and looking for a home!

I've been with my foster family a bit now and here are some things they think you should know about me:
~ I'm a female pup, about 6 months old and 38 pounds. I am small though, my foster mom was surprised at the vet at my weight.
~My foster family believes that I am a Lab mix pup. I LOVE the water, just like most labs do.
~I'm a happy girl, my tail is always wagging, and I have loved everyone with 2 and 4 legs that I have met.
~ I am quiet in my crate.
~ I appear to be house trained (no accidents yet but I may need a day to adjust to your home don't forget)
~ My foster mom believes you should feed me in my crate for a while yet so I can better learn to trust everyone. I may have missed a few meals before in my short life so I gobble my food down. When the door is closed and I feel safe I eat at a much more normal speed.
~ I went to a super fun party in Arlington over the weekend (It was an adoption event my foster mom says) and I did great even with the hussle of the city and lots, and lots of new people.

For now, here are some tidbits about me:
~ I'm super friendly with everyone
~ I'm super quiet in my crate
~ I'm keeping my crate nice and clean. This makes Foster momma very happy.
~ I'm learning to play with toys.
~ I'm doing great with leash walking
~ I'm going to win a contest for the longest tail Foster mom says. It's almost as long as I am tall! She says it's adorable since it's always moving.
~ I'm ready to find my forever family.

Check back for updates as I settle in to my foster home, or apply to adopt me today! A nice pup as cute as I am won't be available for long!

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
