Hi! My name is Honoring Lou Mathai and I'm part of the Veterans Day Memorial transport. I'm named after a U.S. Veteran who happens to be my foster mom’s Dad.
I was found dumped on a rural road in AL, when a kind passerby stopped and picked me up. I didn't look very handsome when I first was brought in as I was severely neglected and on my own for awhile. The very kind people in AL took care of me, shaved me down to get out my mats and cleaned my teeth, helped me get better. I'm guessed to be a poodle mix and I am guessed to be around 5 years old. I'm a sweet boy and I currently weigh about 15 lbs. I’m a little shy with people but I love my 3 foster doggie siblings. I love running around with them in the fenced yard. I’m working hard on house training. I'm in search of a family that will love me forever. Is that you? If so apply today! I sweet guy like me won't be available for long!
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
