#8792 Pelaton

Adopted
Medium-size, Female, Adult Terrier x Hound,
Pelaton is up-to-date on her shots and has been spayed. Pelaton is currently being fostered in Bel Air, MD.

Hi! My name is Pelaton and I'm part of the Fitness Themed transport! I'm guessed to be a Terrier mix and I'm about 4 year old. I'm a sweet girl and I currently weigh about 40lbs.

I am good with crate training. I sleep in the crate in the family room. I am housebroken. I do not bark. I enjoy playing with non-squeezing plush dog toys. I am calm and sweet. I love to be around people. I love to eat treats (especially peanut butter in Kong) and apple. I learned new commands - sit and go potty. My foster takes me for walks on leash at the park nearby. I am doing pretty good in the crate on car trips.

I am looking for a forever owner to love and who will love me too. Is that you? If so apply today! I won't be available for long!

This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
