Hi!
My name is Bevern Rabbit and I am being fostered in Frederick, Maryland.

I’m guessed to be a shepherd mix and estimated to be about 7 yrs old. I’m a sweet girl and I currently weigh about 44 lbs.

My foster parents (who call me Betty) are learning about me. I have shared that:
❤️ I am a sweet girl. I love pets and to be brushed 💈
❤️ I know how to sit! When I sit, I get treats and I am so gentle receiving them. 😋
❤️I give shakes with my paw when you ask.🐾
❤️ I LOVE peanut butter off the 🥄
❤️ I have been doing all my potty business outside. 🏞
❤️ I like to chill in the yard with my foster parents.⛱
❤️ So far, I haven’t jumped on anyone or chewed something I wasn’t supposed to. 😇
❤️ I like to play with stuffed toys. 🧸
❤️ I am working on crate training, hint I love a kong with me in there. 👌
❤️ I am working on walking on a leash. There is so much to explore🦮

While in foster care, Beveren Rabbit received her heartworm treatment. She is now available to go to her forever home. 🏠

This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. The disease was treated while in foster care. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
