My name is Sammy S and I’m part of the Hometown Heroes, who are all named over local heroes who are working on the front lines.
I’m guessed to be a Boxer/Mastiff mix and estimated to be about 2 yrs old. I’m a super sweet girl, with a laid back energy and I currently weigh 72 lbs. I rode beautifully in the car on my way to my new Foster home and used my manners when meeting the four household dogs, cat and parrot. I settle down quickly when I'm crated and haven't cried or barked, even when I'm alone. The bath I got today went really well too. It felt good to get rid of all that loose, itchy hair! My foster parents keep saying I'm one of the easiest "doggie guests" they've ever had! Did I mention I love cuddling? Sometimes my foster Mom has to tell me to quit trying to climb on her lap since I’m so big. I usually settle for laying my head on her leg and letting her rub my soft ears. Heaven! Will you be the lucky adopter who gets to make me part of your family? I hope so!
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
