Hi! My name is Anson Harrison (my foster mom calls me Kelce, after Super Bowl Champion, Jason Kelce) I arrived from Mississippi to OPH on May 15th. I am currently sharing a home with a foster sister and brother and we are all getting along great. I like them both a lot, but I’m never too far from my foster brother (see pictures.)
Since I'm just a pup, my foster mom has been working with me on manners, basic commands, crate training and house breaking. I’m learning quickly, and following the older pups’ lead. I have had very few accidents, since I figured out how to alert my foster mom when I need to go out. I'm learning not to jump when I get excited, which is good, because I'm going to be a big girl!
Although I have all the curiosity and playfulness of a puppy, I’m not overly energetic. I’m quite relaxed and love to cuddle. My foster mom let me sleep on her bed and I sleep through the night, without having any accidents. It was a pretty big move and long ride from Mississippi to Baltimore. There has been a lot of change for me in very short time, but I’m already well adjusted and showing myself to be fearless. Unless the vacuum cleaner is around.
I’m looking forward to finding my forever! My foster mom is trying not to get attached (though she’s failing at that) because she knows it won’t be long until my family finds me!
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
