Adopted
Small-size, Male, Senior Poodle,
Pictor (Senior) is up-to-date on his shots and has been neutered. Pictor (Senior) is currently being fostered in Laurel, MD.

Hi!
My name is Pictor and I’m part of the Constellations transport coming to OPH 7/10/20.

I’m guessed to be a Poodle mix and estimated to be about 8 years old. I’m a sweet boy and I currently weigh about 20 lbs.

A few things about me:

🐾Because I am so sunny, silly, and peppy, my foster family calls me Pepé 🐩

🐾I get along really well with my dog brother who is twice my size. I don’t mind his loud barks, and recently started helping him keep watch of the house. As I’m settling in and feeling at home, I like to tell my foster family when I see someone outside, but otherwise, I am pretty quiet.

🐾Other than one accident when I first arrived from being so happy to be in a home, I am potty trained and do very well with consistent potty breaks.

🐾Seeing the leash makes me SOOO happy, and going for car rides is the best.

🐾My foster parents day I’m a cosmo-paw-litan guy. I prefer walking in towns or cities, or at least on paved walkways. I’ve gotten better about woodland walks, and am enjoying them more now. I just like to keep my paws clean.

🐾I love walks and going out and about. I could drop a pound or two since some of my extra weight is slowing me down from the bigger walks I want, but I’m determined!

🐾On these hot days, I’ve enjoyed visiting dog friendly businesses to walk and keep cool. I’ve enjoyed meeting new friends there.

🐾I LOVE meeting new people, and showing off my belly for belly rubs when we meet each other

🐾I don’t like the crate at all. My foster mom calls me a Velcro dog since I have to be by one of my foster parents side at all times. I like to lay by my foster parents while they work from home. I am very well behaved when they are busy, I just want to be nearby to keep an eye on them. At night, I like to snuggle in bed with my pack, and sleep until my humans wake me up.

🐾When I wake up or come back from an exciting outing, I like to do my wiggle dances on soft rugs and blankets. It seems to also keep my foster family laughing, and I like to keep them smiling

🐾I’m working on some basic commands. I don’t know “sit” too well but I do listen to “come here”

🐾I am such a sweet, wiggly, and fun loving guy, and want nothing more than to be with my pack. I roll with whatever is going on, and would love to join you along your adventures

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
