❤ I had a long journey in life that was not nice to me until I came across my foster mom and OPH in October 2020. I was adopted and loved and spoiled for 4 years. Unfortunately, my adopter has health issues and can't take care of me anymore. So now I am back with OPH so I can find another loving home and someone else to enjoy my quirky personality.
❤ Due to my early journey I have lost one of my eyes but that's ok. I get around just fine and feel like I can do anything any 2 eyed dog can do
❤ I am a very loving dog. I love getting attention and being petted. I also have lots of energy so I like to play too.
❤ I like it when my foster mom takes me outside but I need to have a very secure harness and leash on so I don't get loose and run. In fact it's recommended that i'm double leashed with a harness and collar and 2 leashes because I can be an escape artist and have managed to get out of a harness more than once. (I am a very fast runner.) I would really love a securely fenced yard.
❤ I do ok in a crate with a dog bed or soft blankets but prefer not to be in one.
❤ I have come a long way since my rough start in life and have lots of love to give and a great personality.
❤
All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
