Glen Allen, VA - Cause for Paws Charity Kickball Tournament
We’re kicking the red rubber ball and raising money to help local animals find loving families through Operation Paws for Homes. Join us for a great day of kickball for a great cause!
DATE/TIME: Sunday, February 23rd; 9a-6p
LOCATION: Glover Park – Turf Fields
COST: $30/40/50 – Sign up earlier and save
INCLUDES: 3 guaranteed games and charity donation
Registering for the tournament is just like registering for a CLUBWAKA team. If you are a captain, you’ll create a friend group and then have your friends register and select your team from the dropdown. If you are a free agent or small group just looking to join the fun, no worries, sign up and we’ll find you a team! This tourney will be using the standard CLUBWAKA Kickball Rules
Minimum Roster Sizes: 12 players with at least 5 of each gender. If you are short of those numbers, no worries. We can help you find teammates! Please contact tstanton@clubwaka.com for help.
All teams will be guaranteed 3 pool play games. The tournament schedule is subject to change and will be finalized a week prior to the event.
Proceeds will benefit the Operation Paws for Homes. Help us give these pets a 2nd chance!

Join us as we present a Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses event to benefit Operation Paws for Homes! Adoptable dogs will roam on the class floor to allow for doggy cuddles during this one-hour mixed level yoga class.

BONUS: Two Tail Treats will be joining us at the event! Two Tail Treats is a company built on love and healthy dog treats. We believe everyone deserves a treat, so we offer an array of allergy friendly delectable dog treats. Our pup cakes and treats are made in small batches with fresh, natural and locally sourced ingredients. Two Tail Treats is a small woman-owned company based in Frederick MD. We will be donating 50% of all pup cake and beef cake sales (sold at event) to OPH" – from Two Tail Treats for the event!
**Please note that as this is a fundraising event for the rescue, the only dogs allowed on the class floor will be from Operation Paws for Homes. Also, due to potential canine dietary restrictions, no food or treats will be allowed on the class floor.

10th Annual Fast & Furriest 5K/1M
The 10th Annual Fast & Furriest 5K race and 1M walk to benefit Operation Paws for Homes - an all-breed 501c3 dog rescue - is the rescue's 2nd biggest annual fundraiser focused on raising funds toward the medical needs of our dogs. This is also our only in-person large fundraiser.
Like last year, this year's event is both live and virtual! So tell all your friends and family - wherever they are located - they, too, can participate in this event. Let's make it coast to coast! We are excited to include virtual options again and we hope you are just as excited to join us !
