About Alfredo
Hello there! My name is Alfredo, and I’m a 5-year-old Bulldog with a laid-back attitude and a heart full of love. Weighing in at a solid 100 pounds, I’m a big boy who loves to lounge around and enjoy the comforts of home. I’m a true couch potato who prefers to sleep all day, but I do enjoy a bit of romping around when the mood strikes.
Personality
I’m a sweet and affectionate guy who loves to be around my people. I’m great with kids and will be their gentle giant and loyal friend. While I need to be the only dog in the home, I promise to give you all the love and attention you could ever need. My friendly and loving nature makes me a joy to be around.
Skills and Training
I’m fully housetrained and know basic commands like sit and come. However, true to my Bulldog nature, I don’t always listen, but that’s just part of my charm! I’m easygoing and well-behaved, making me a great companion for any family.
Companionship
If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and affectionate companion, I’m the one for you! I’ll bring warmth, joy, and loyalty to your home and be there to welcome you every day with a wag and a snuggle. I need to be the only pet in the home, as I don’t do well with other dogs.
Energy Level
I’m a low-energy dog who prefers lounging on the couch to running around outside. While I don’t love going outside, I do enjoy a bit of romping around when I’m in the mood. I’m the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a relaxed and laid-back lifestyle.
All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
