#13833 Chandler

Adoptable
Large-size, Male, Young Mixed Breed,

Hi! My name is Chandler and I’m guessed to be about a year old (fun fact I’m a Yankee Doodle dandy born on the 4 of July!) I’m a mixed breed and I’m currently 47 pounds of sweetness!

Some things to know about me:

- I am full of enthusiasm and enjoy running and playing a lot. Sometimes I even slow down enough to sit and snuggle.
- I like to chew on things like tennis balls and bones, so please keep them coming!
- I love being outdoors, but I am also getting used to relaxing in my crate when necessary.
- I am potty trained.
- I am kennel trained.
- I know my basic commands.
- I take treats so politely from my humans, make me sit before taking the treat.
- When walking on a leash, I have a tendency to pull as I prefer to be running; nonetheless, I am learning that it's acceptable to simply walk on occasion.
- I am friendly with other dogs and relish roughhousing and playing with them!
- Prior to coming to OPH, I did not have much experience living with humans. While I have made significant strides and are doing better some things still scare me, including male humans, so I might be better in a home without too many of those.

Chandler Chandler is currently being fostered in Pylesville, MD.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
