About: Dilbert
Hello! My name is Dilbert! I'm a Lab/Terrier mix breed pup with a gentle and playful personality, ready to give you all my love and loyalty. At 50 lbs., I'm the perfect size. I recently, but here is what my foster family has learned so far:

- I am a sweet and happy boy who loves to smile and wag his tail
- Although I love people, I can be timid and hesitant meeting new people, especially in groups. Once I know you are my friend, I just want to be with you to share love and affection. I get excited to see my people and give them kisses! When they talk to me I can't help but smile and runs over to them how happy I am to see them.
- I enjoy snuggling on the sofa or stretching out for belly rubs
- I really like having toys and a doggie bed where I can enjoy playing with them. Foster mom thinks I this is the first time I lived in a home, so she has been teaching me what is and isn't a toy. She says I am doing well. Click here to see me enjoying a toy after my bath.
- I enjoy being outside. I like running and exploring my foster home's fenced in backyard. I am happiest when someone else is outside with me and throw toys for me. Click here
- I have a lot of young dog curiosity and always want to come see what people are doing.
to see me outside.
- Foster mom has been teaching me "four on the floor". I have been doing a great job not counter surfing to see what is going on up on the counter now, but still can't quite control my excitement when I first see foster mom in the mornings and not want to give her hugs.
- I haven't had any accidents in the house, only going to the potty outside
- I sleep quietly all night in my crate and patiently waited for my turn to get up and go outside in the morning

Dilbert Dilbert is currently being fostered in Baltimore, MD.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
