PERSONALITY
Cora is a sweet, playful puppy who loves engaging with her puppy siblings in her favorite activities which include chasing balls and playing tug. Afterwards, she loves cuddling to take a long nap. Sometimes she is shy when first meeting new person, but with time she is back to her sweet, tail wagging self!
COMPANIONSHIP
She loves to be around people and other animals. Cora is learning appropriate play with her foster mom’s seven-year-old kids.
TRAINING AND LEARNING
Cora is using pee pads and is learning about walking on a leash to potty outdoors. Also, crate training is coming along and this pup is eager to learn. Since she is still so young, she is a bit mouthy like all puppies, and she is practicing things like taking treats more gently from her foster mom’s hand. She will need supervision and training to help her be her best especially around small kiddos.
Cora did well when she met her foster’s cat. Cora’s foster mom reports that Cora sniffed the feline, waggled her tail and walked away. Cora’s foster mom also reports that Cora is highly trainable and eager to learn. She would do well in puppy training classes.
LOVE AND AFFECTION
Cora is a real snuggler. She enjoys being picked up by her foster mom and will say thanks by giving sweet kisses. Cora loves her siblings and their foster mom finds them all snuggled into one big napping pile of pups.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful pup who is sure to grow up to be a loyal and snuggly companion, this may be your girl.

Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
