MEET FANCY - A Big Beautiful Girl with a Gleaming Coat and an Irresistible Smile.
PERSONALITY
Get ready to fall in love with this good-natured girl. She has sweetness to share, and does so with everyone she meets, including dogs, children and adults. She’s also playful and gets her money’s worth out of all her toys.
COMPANIONSHIP
Fancy’s favorite place to be is wherever her favorite humans are, and also wherever she finds other dogs. She doesn’t want to miss anything and will seek out the center of the family activity so she can play a part.
TRAINING AND LEARNING
Fancy is a potty-training superstar with no accidents in her foster home. And, she loves a good treat, which her foster family says helps in the process of teaching her basic commands, which she is learning. She enjoys walks and is progressing on her leash manners. She would enjoy being part of family where she can continue to build these skills. Because she is a social butterfly, she sometimes gets overexcited but responds well when it’s time to be in her Zen zone. Being so tall means Fancy can see what’s on top of kitchen counters and she would do best in a family that remembers to keep unapproved things out of Fancy’s reach.
LOVE AND AFFECTION
Fancy is a great family pet who is just missing a family. She is very loveable and showers her people with hugs and kisses.
IDEAL HOME
Fancy will thrive in a home with a patient family who can continue helping her be her best self by continuing to work on learning basic commands and leash manners. Or course, her ideal home would also be one where she has the opportunity to explore outdoors in a fenced yard or on walks. Since she loves children and other dogs, as well as adult humans, she would do well in a home with any combination of these family members.

Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
