Hello! My name is Arlo! I'm a mixed breed pup with a sweet personality, ready to give you all my love and loyalty. At 20 lbs., I'm the perfect size, don't you think? I just arrived on 5/2 so my new parents are still getting to know me--check back soon for updates on my personality, along with new photos. When I first arrived, I was pretty scared, but before the day was over I was playing, behaving, and doing great! I cooperated for a bath, hair trim, and lots of brushing right out of the gate. I also impressed my people with my manners at the first mealtime without jumping or begging--just hanging out and giving them company was nice. All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
