Woofstock
Woofstock is Richmond Animal League’s annual family-friendly & dog-friendly outdoor festival aimed at raising lifesaving funds and awareness for rescue & adoption. Last year, Woofstock saw over 2,000 attendees and featured 60+ vendors, a pet parade, pet adoptions, and live music!

10th Annual Fast & Furriest 5K/1M
The 10th Annual Fast & Furriest 5K race and 1M walk to benefit Operation Paws for Homes - an all-breed 501c3 dog rescue - is the rescue's 2nd biggest annual fundraiser focused on raising funds toward the medical needs of our dogs. This is also our only in-person large fundraiser.
Like last year, this year's event is both live and virtual! So tell all your friends and family - wherever they are located - they, too, can participate in this event. Let's make it coast to coast! We are excited to include virtual options again and we hope you are just as excited to join us !

Ashland Strawberry Faire
Since 1982, the Ashland Strawberry Faire has been a beloved tradition, drawing families, friends, and strawberry enthusiasts from far and wide. This free, family-oriented event isn’t just about celebrating the juicy goodness of strawberries; it’s about coming together as a community and giving back through scholarships and nonprofit initiatives.
Grab a free trolley and visit 300+ vendors including arts & crafts, non-profits, food, and local businesses on the gorgeous tree-lined campus of Randolph-Macon College. It’s a “berry” good time!

Mount Airy, MD - Dog Days at Linganore Winecellars
Join us for Dog Days at Linganore! This is a super fun event -- bring your dog, purchase some wine/food or bring a picnic!

The winery's event runs from 4-8pm. We will be on site from 5-8pm. Bring your furry friends out from 5-8 pm for an evening of fun, wine, and food. They’ll be able to run in the dog park while you enjoy a glass of wine, food from the featured food truck, and live music.
Operation Paws for Homes will receive a donation from the winery totaling 20% of wine sales during the event. Think about stocking up for your summer get togethers!
