Adoption Pending
Medium-size, Female, Adult Hound x Mixed Breed,

Hi! My name is Missy!

I’m guessed to be a 2 year old Hound mixed breed dog. My foster mom says I’m an incredibly sweet girl with the softest hound ears!

Things to know about me:
- Weighs @45 pounds
- Loves to be on the couch (or other soft surface)
- Loves her morning and afternoon naps
- Sleeps on her dog bed all night
- Good with other dogs (she loves playing with her foster sister- Click here, here, and here
- Good with kids
- Loves walks
- Working on crate training
- Is housetrained with a regular schedule of walks which is a benefit to Missy as well as her adopter
- She is very athletic and can jump a fence

Missy had a rough start to life and probably lived on the streets. She is a sweet girl who loves to be with her people!

Missy Missy is currently being fostered in Centreville, VA.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
