#13693 Rascal

Adoption Pending
Medium-size, Male, Adult Beagle,

Woof! Thanks for stopping by my profile to learn a bit about me. My foster family and the OPH folks think I’m a pretty cool dude so read below to find out about ME!!!!

~ My name is Rascal, it may suggest that I like to get into trouble but that’s not the case.
~ I’m 6.5 years young. Old enough to not be a troublemaker, young enough to enjoy a good walk or two and trips to the dog park.
~ I’m about 55 pounds. I’ve been working on my figure since I came north, so look out world, I’m getting more handsome by the day!
~ I’m housebroken, as all men of my age bracket should be.
~ I have dance moves! Okay, that’s just my happy dance when I see my leash and I know we are going for a walk but I have moves!
~ As a more distinguished gentleman, I enjoy lounging in the sun after a romp in the yard or a walk, or just because...
~ I know the benefits of a good night’s rest and enjoy sleeping in a bit too.
~ I’ve gotten along with everyone I have met so far. Men, women, kids and other dogs. The world is my playground and I have friends to meet!

Overall, I’m just a distinguished, middle-aged guy looking for a good night’s rest, a walk or two (or four) a day, a patch of sunlight to catch a nap occasionally and a dog bed all my own. If this sounds like the perfect match for you, give my foster mom a shout and she will set up a time for us to meet.

Oh, I forgot one little thing. I don’t like cats, I will sound the alarm if a cat comes in the yard so let’s not try and figure that out, let’s just not have a cat in our family. Otherwise, I’m quiet and would enjoy apartment living as well.

Rascal Rascal is currently being fostered in Bristow, VA.

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.

This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
