About Jenny
Hi there! I’m Jenny, a lovable 3-year-old mixed breed who’s had a tough journey but is full of heart. I came to OPH on 9/6/24, underweight and with a few scars from my past. But with the love and care from my foster mom, I’m getting my girlie figure back and learning to enjoy all the comforts of being a spoiled house pup.
Personality
I’m a big fan of snuggles, rubs, and love—I can’t get enough! My foster family includes a human foster brother, and I adore spending time with him. We fit perfectly in the chair together, where I get to snuggle in close and learn all about gaming and reading books. I also love any cozy spot—a soft couch, a comfy chair, or a fluffy blanket is my happy place. I have also met many other kids, and so well with them.
Energy Level and Ideal Home
Curious and playful, I’m fascinated by the world around me. I love chasing squirrels and rabbits in the yard, though they’re always one step ahead! I’m also very interested in cats…but maybe a little too interested. I would do best in a home without cats, as I’m quite determined when it comes to chasing them, whether I can see them or not.
I’m learning my leash manners, and my sad face has brightened since arriving at my foster home. I’m excited to learn all the fun things about being a beloved family dog!

All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
This dog's bio is based off the experiences of the foster and/or volunteers of OPH as well as any information that we received from the shelter or previous owner. This is very important because it means that while they may act one way in the foster’s home, you may experience something different in your home.
